At a crossroad in life ~ searching for more truths in life ~

About seven months ago I found out, with the help of the ever so daunting MRI machine, that literally, my brain is sliding out of my skull and into my spinal cord.  I soooo didn't see this coming down my life path.  Neurologist, Neuro-Surgeon, brain surgery were not on my list of things to do before I die.  How is this happening to me? I am a healthy Mom of 2 adorable daughters, wife to an amazing husband and I live an active life that includes my quest to become an Adirondack 46'r in my lifetime. Better yet, I want to some day hike to Everest base camp. 

My reaction to impending brain surgery has totally rocked my world and my reaction to all of it has been startling and ironic.  Somehow, I have dug into the recesses of my heart and soul and have found humor, strength, hope, a whole heck of a lot of faith and the ever present FEAR.
